In mythological times two kuniya (pythons), a male and a female, came from
the east to Karrilwarra, a rockhole and soakage water site, north west of the
Kiwirrkura Community. They later travelled south west to Wiluna. The snake’s
tracks are represented by the lines in the painting. This mythology forms part
of the Tingari Cycle. Since events associated with the Tingari Cycle are of
a secret nature no further detail is given.
