This painting depicts women’s body paint designs associated with the
Two Women’s Dreaming at the rockhole site of Putja, south east of the
Kintore Community. The four circles are rockholes. Two women travelling from
the south
camped at the site and performed the munni munni game. This game is said to
attract eligible partners.

Narpula was born in the Haasts Bluff region in late 1950’s. She is the
widow of Johnny Scobie Tjapanangka who was a shareholder and artist with Papunya
Tula Artists prior to his death in 1999. Narpula is the younger sister of Turkey
Tolson Tjupurrula.
