The painting depicts designs associated with the rockhole site of Yumarra, east
of Punkilpirri, which is north-west of Docker River in the Walter James Range.
The artist has shown the rockholes in the country through which a group of women
passed during their travels from Yumarra to Punkilpirri and then north to Tjukula,
Tjamuka and Talili. While in the area the women gathered the edible fruit known
as mangata or quandong from the small tree Santalum acuminatum and the edible
berries kampurarrpa or desert raisin from the small shrub Solanum centrale.
