This painting depicts designs associated with the rockhole site of Illytjunya,
east of Mt Webb in Western Australia.
In mythological times a woman, Kutungka Napanangka, visited this site before
continuing her travels east to Muruntji, a large permanent water site, south-west
of Mt. Liebig. At Muruntji she was accosted by one of a group of boys. She
chased and killed them, with the exception of the culprit, who escaped.
