This painting depicts designs associated with the
Two Snake Dreaming which travelled to the rockhole and soakage water
site of Karrilwarra, west of the Pollock Hills in Western Australia.
The snakes travelled west from a place just west of Yuendumu and passed
through Lake Mackay where they went underground. They resurfaced at
Karrilwarra where they formed the rockhole and later continued deep
into Western Australia. This mythology forms part of the Tingari Cycle.
