This painting depicts designs associated with the
rockhole site of Wirrulnga, east of the Kiwirrkura Community. A group
of women camped at the site after travelling from the west. They later
continued north east to Lake Mackay. Wirrulnga is associated with birth
and while at the site, one of the women of the Hapaltjarri kinship
subsection gave birth. The arcs represent the rocky outcrops and the
surrounding sandhills.
