This painting depicts designs associated with the
rockhole site of Marrapinti, just to the west of the Kiwirrkura Community.
A large group of senior women camped at this site to perform ceremonies.
While in the area they gathered the edible berries kampurarrpa or desert
raisin from the small shrub Solanum centrale. These berries are eaten
direct from the bush and are also ground and used to make a type of
damper. The orange areas represent areas of these berries. The women
later travelled east passing through Wirrulngya and Ngaminya.
