TODD HUNTER
Todd Hunter was born in Brisbane in 1972. He currently lives and works
in Sydney. Hunter's work explores both landscape and the figure through
a process of abstraction. A strong grounding in drawing underpins all
of his work. “ Distortions of the real. The studies that this large work are interpreted from are images of pornography which are painted and worked over until a new form emerges invariably bearing no, or little resemblance to what previously existed. The photgraphic basis of this image is metemorphosed through painting into a figurative abstraction.
